One of the side effects is something called:

retroperitoneal fibrosis

It'a particularily nasty. It can occur if the Sansert is taken over an extended period.

There are lots of other side effects, try looking Sansert or Methysergide up on a search engine.

The substance itself is derived from Ergot. It was used to treat CH and migraine after it's sister drug LSD fell foul of the fun police. LSD is much more effective and much less dangerous.

Both substances work in a similar way in that they both consrtic the blood vessels and block Serotonin. LSD is the better Serotnin antagonist whereas Methysergide is good at constricting your blood vessels and causing gangrene... but not as good as Ergotamine which is the best drug to make your leg fall off (especially in Cafegot form). This will abort cluster attacks by temporarily shrinking the brain. Hopefully the headache goes away prior to the onset of stroke and death. Nasty stuff.

Mind you gangrene, stroke, dicky chest, weakened heart, etc... are all much less dangerous than a flower painted bus. Apparently.

Who am I to argue.
