I had one diagnose me with CH back in '96. But my own GP poo-pooed that idea and said it was Tension/Stress headaches. He kept this diagnosis up for 4 years! It got to the point that I was beginning to believe him and his inferrences that I was imagining the pain was worse than it really was becuase I was being a hypocondriac!
Even now he's fighting Dr Goadsby about referring me to QS. To say I am enemy number one is an understatement. It looks like it's going to get even more ugly before he'll write the damn letter too.
It's not the public that needs the most educating its the general medical profession.
