My husband comes home today..... Hooray!! He is so anxious

about it. Although he is ready to walk out of the hospital as we speak. The doctor won't discharge him until 5pm. He is soooo upset. I am assuming that all of this anxiousness is part of the nicotine/caffeine/narcotics withdrawal. I begged him not to leave so the dr would give him his going home prescriptions. He feels really good right now and apparently doesn't think he needs the medication once he gets home.. Some (he) is just alittle hard headed or in denial..
