I know all too well about leaving a date with a not-so-good lasting impression. You are having a great night, laughing, dancing or enjoying a wonderful dinner and then BAM! Enter, stage right, The Beast! You fight it for a while, trying to hide the pain until you can't disguise the agony any longer.
Don't be too discouraged because, as you said, life will be normal again.
Your date missed out on spending time with a wonderful man. It's her loss, not yours!
