Carl:
AsI was racing back home from dropping my 5 year old off at her softball game to get to my faithful oxygen tank which I call Regis (It is my final answer and my lifeline) I got stuck in traffic. As I approached a railroad crossing, I thought "If a train comes now and I get stuck for 10 more minutes , I am in big trouble." Then I thought, "If the signal starts flashing for me to stop, I can drive right on to the tracks and ..." Well, I made it home and broke down crying in my husband's arms. He carried me to Regis and sat with me until the oxygen did its job. This is my 8th week, the peek week for me. 5 attacks of 10's a day, been out of work for a week, afraid to leave my house, and scared to death to go to sleep.(7 hour CH the other night) What you are feeling is completely normal and rational. You have tried, and continue to, try everything to help yourself. I find that the doctors just keep pushing the meds, knowing that they probably won't work. I am in the process of finding a good psychiatrist, someone to help me accept this hell and deal with it before my marriage is ruined and my 2 young children begin to resent me. I feel so badly for you and understand everything you are going through. We have to believe that there are better days ahead.
Hang in there
