Thankfully I am now retired 'cause the last two cycles have really kicked my butt. I was fortunate that most of the attacks were late night/early morning but many times, after a long night of pacing, I was just too damned exhausted to drag myself in to work. I guess I was lucky that I never got canned but I was counseled more than a few times for excess absentism.
Re the question about ADA. Yes, CH is considered a disability but your employer must fall under ADA (50 or more employees, I think). Our sufferring FREEk (aka Carl D) has just recently been approved for SSI benefits but it was a struggle. Hope this helps and good luck.
