what on earth is this flap about anyway ?
evey other health/medical article you read in Newsweek, Science, the newspapers; on TV news mag shows,,etc etc etc is LOADED with coverage of the trend by DRs (at least the younger/more progressive ones) to FINALLY start involving spiritual & mental attitude approaches WITH the high tech scientific Western medical regimes -
they're NOT mutually exclusive except in the eyes of the nutty radical fringe in each camp -
(and unfortunately there are still plenty of way-out-there types around, but they're losing ground & credibility real fast)
we're creatures of body, mind & spirit (put those in any order you want, it still adds up the same) and only when we work on healing all 3 can we be truly well
maybe we haven't been reading anything but this message board for too long

in fact "mainstream" medicine IS working on putting all 3 parts of us together in healing,
but somehow we clusterheads are getting all tangled up - nobody need fear an MD would look down on the "softside" approach - they're all jumping on that wagon themselves
catch up friends, catch up !
