I've just been diagnosed chronic CH and am 15 months into this bought which I've learned may last for years or may never end. I have to agree with Elaine that my mindset seems to affect the level of pain I feel. I have had plenty of days where I felt like I just couldn't stand one more moment of pain or where I thought the pain just couldn't get any worse and then it did. I've tried anything and everything that any doctor would throw at me and I have to say just keep trying to find something that will at least turn them down to a tolerable level until you can get through this bout and have continued faith that this cluster will end. I sometimes kid myself that I've learned to deal with the pain, I don't think anyone can learn to deal with a 10+, it's just not human. Best of luck to you and remember "This too shall pass".
