Cheryl, I HAVE to disagree.

The demon is the constantly defeated.

He loses everytime we survive.
He loses everytime we don't swallow the lead pill.
He loses everytime we come here, seek and find the strength from others we need to make it through.

He can't ever win, which is what frustrates him so much that he has to keep coming back to try again. He's a lousy loser and a poor sport.

He's been teasing with me lately also. I ignore him. I know this pisses him off and will cause him to launch a full blown assault sometime soon, but f*$k him. Every week, every day, every hour every minute I ignore him is that much more time I have for me.

When he does strike, if this year is like last, he will hit me 4-6 times a day. Imitrex will (I hope) put him back in his box in 10-15 minutes. 40 to 90 minutes a day (plus 'recovery')? Heck, I still win.

I don't remember what you use. If it's Imitrex, try this little trick. When he hits, take a shot/tab/spray right away and say "Here, Demon. Take this and shove it up your a$$!!" Okay, this isn't how your Mom taught you to behave, but she was talking about people, not the Demon.

Besides, Mom also said stuff like "If you fall off that swing, break your neck and kill yourself, you aren't going to the store with me!!!"
:-)
