I'd imagine that they did. I just went through the fight to get them to OK it too. They didn't ask for FDA approval but things from credible sources like JAMA and MedScape or Medline abstracts to look at. I sent those and if that will help you, let me know and I'll send the very same things off to you. Usually the problem is an HMO doctor who never heard of the treatment and just needs some authentication by others in the field to justify him authorizing it.
