I was chronic for 17 months. Very horrible.
Amitriptyline, 20-30 mg at night, has stopped the
headaches for 9 months so far. Took several weeks
to really kick in. Not too tired in the morning
(once you get up and moving). Horrible dry-mouth
at night is the worst/only real side effect. I had
tried EVERYTHING before with no/very little
success.
