Scary thought: *the* worst life imaginable

This terrible thought occurred to me today. What could be worse than living with CH as we do now? That would be going through full-blown CH, and not being able to do a damn thing about it. This could theoretically happen to any clusterhead, if you think about it. If we suffer a major stroke or get in an accident which makes it impossible for us to communicate with the outside world, we might still continue getting CH without being able to stop or treat it at all. No one would know the pain we would be going through. That would be a true living hell. Enough to drive one insane.

For this reason, I think each of us should seriously consider preparing living wills, DNRs, etc. to address this potential nightmare.

Is anyone out there familiar with the legal steps needed to do this kind of thing?
