Welcome to CH.com. My first advice is to show your doctor some facts about CH. If she is stubborn, change doctors. Find one who will prescribe a preventative medication and something like Imitrex if your general health allows it. Ask about oxygen also as an abortive.
And support OUCH. If you can get this doctor "broken in" so to speak you may be helping not only yourself but other patients to follow.
