I read Drummer's Meaning of Life post with fascination and entertainment. And it reminded me of one of those "moments" from my own past. I have a brother who is 18 months older than I, always one grade ahead of me through school (even college). He was a smart guy, achievement-oriented, straight, and all that. He was pre-law in elementary school.I didn't like him much back then. A hard act to follow, so I went the opposite way. At a party in college that we both happened to attend, some drunken bozo challenged my brother to describe life to him. My brother looked him in the eye and said "Life describes itself." And it does. And he no longer was any kind of an act I had to follow.
