Took Judy in for cataract surgery yesterday, no big deal. About 45 minutes total and most of it was prep and recovery. This was her second and the 1st (last year on the other eye was a smashing success). Forty years ago they would have had her head sandbagged and hospitalized for days with Coke bottle bottom glasses to even marginally see. She is 20/25 on the right eye (the first) and we go back today to see how well they did on the left. The point? Maybe in not too many years there could also be a simple procedure that would eliminate these @#$%s. Yeah, I know. But it's a dream.
