my neuro has tried everything i've ever heard on this board and more to treat my clusters. currently, i'm on Korvasc, a drug they give people with high blood pressure. at one time he wanted me to go to an ENT to do the xylocaine sphenopalatine ganglion anaestethization thing, but it's nigh impossible to predict when i'm going to have a cluster, and the ENT doc would have to be right there while i have it anyway. logistically, it's a dead end. but if it worked, he was going to recommend cooking the nerve. i'd do anything to end these damn things, but i'd carefully weigh the side effects of the surgery before going through with it.

oh, and a funny thing about teeth...i never heard of people getting teeth pulled to cure their CH, but i'm in the middle of a bad cycle, and i just got a lower left side molar pulled on monday and haven't had a cluster since. given, i'm popping perocet like candy, but i wonder how long it'll last...?
