As an longtime musician and artist (oils, mainly) as well as a writer, the question sparked my interest...I am in one of my most creative modes in years, and my attacks are left-side this time around.
To be honest, I can't recall what side my headaches prefer over the years, but I think they are primarily left-side. I do remember, however, that like Tracy, I had them switch sides one time during a cycle.
I'm right-handed as well.
Who has compiled data on these traits? Anyone know?
