Tell it like it is!
Just sincerely believing in something doesn't cause it to be a valid thing to believe in. I can sincerely believe that my jeep is a Porche and even put high octane fuel in it, but it's still a jeep and will always be and I'll be sincerely wrong.
Now, I will join OUCH. I missed a couple of opportunities to join as I was mulling over the importance of joining. You see I really do have to be careful with my finances as I am committed to other worthy causes that come close to 20% of my gross wages. So one more thing to contribute to really takes planning.
I believe in the cause of OUCH. It's a true and noble cause. I make no defense for giving long consideration to the merits of joining OUCH.
As far as believing in a Higher Power goes... I believe that if you're going to have faith in something then that something should have the power to make changes, changes like changed lives. It should be something worth serving and making sacrifices for. I'll be off my butt here directly to work for OUCH. In the mean time I'll pray to the One who can make a difference and ask for His guidance in other important life matters.
