My mom (who I love, respect, admire and like a whole bunch) is going across the Country. I'm worried about her. She is a wonderful caring woman. Much more wonderful than me.
The story I wrote about signs was true. My mom is following signs. She says she is answering God's calling. She is stopping her business of helping Vietnam Veterans, and she is going far away to help children.
She is wonderful.
I asked her to take a cell phone with her, just in case something happens on the long drive out there. I'm worried about my mom. She'll be all alone. Just in case her car breaks down in the middle of Kansas - I want her to have a phone.
She won't take one. She says she has God.
I told my mom this:
"I'm going to miss you. Please promise me one thing. Please promise me that you will never, ever, ever, stop believing in God."
My mom promised me.
