Zomig,Imitrex and fast relief

Why take Zomig for Clusters? It is supposed to be a longer lasting drug. Most clusters are short lived.Use the shortest lasting drug.
By the time a cluster is well into the attack it takes more medication to stop it. Oral triptans are most effective for those on a regular schedule of headaaches where they can be anticipated. Taking the oral med in advance of the headache allows you to use less of the medication.
Injections are best once the headache has started. Try using the vials of Imitrex with an insulin needle. 1/4th dose works very well. It is much cheaper too.
