I to am chronic and I know how you feel. I can tell by your post you will be just fine. Live love and laugh is how I deal. I seem to be able to do this in between the demons visits. When he is with me I try to give him a good fight and with the help of this board I have.
You may find that as a chronic your drugs lose effect after a while and it may be time to search for something different. I have to change ever so often.
