I very gently tone down the verapamil dose. As long as I get twitches and shadows the episode is not over. I may up the dose, or continue to see how serious it gets, depends on how heavy the shadows were.
And then some day, you just feel nothing. You ease down on the meds and still nothing. First little steps into thin air. Freedom!
That's how it is for me, anyway. Verapamil is doing a great job for me.
