Cluster headaches- music related

I have a 15 year old son who suffers severe eye pain attacks. These are normally more severe at night, but also frequently occur during the day but of less intensity.
Music of any form, no matter how quiet, triggers these attacks during the day, and is making his life unbearable.
Has anyone heard of a similar problem?
