Topamax actually seemed like it was working for me but after I increased to 50mg (I think that's the right dose) I had a very strange side effect, I was paralyzed from the waist down for 4 hours. No movement, no reflexes, nothing. It was so weird. I'm in the medical profession and had an ICU nurse come witness it to make sure and she wanted to rush me to the emergency room. I just waited till it worked it's way out of my system and then was bummed cuz it was the first thing I'd taken in months that made my head feel so clear. Best of luck to you.
