I just told the agent to reduce the number of rooms reserved at the Monte Carlo from 200 to 10! And 8 of those 10 are accounted for. Also cancelled the meeting room, banquet and buffett breakfast. The convention now consists of the 8 of us trading war stories in the suite we were going to use for a hospitality suite.
If you already signed up and want to un-sign up because of this change, let me know right away. If ya still want to come to Vegas and meet me and Riccardo we'll be there. I'll recrunch the numbers when all is said and done to see if we can refund some of the registration fees.
The Monte Carlo was threatening big cancellation fees if we didn't give them final numbers now so I made this command decision.
Now, I'm going fishing in the Sierra for the next week and I'm not once gonna think about a convention.
