Once again, another doctor who does not understand. I have always been told clusters only happen to male smokers... well I'm here to say I'm neither (although I do have the 'hazel eye' theory). I started my clusters at age 18 and am now 34. I recently came upon the Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago (www.diamondheadache.com) who understood, sympathized and treated me as a CLUSTER HEADACHE SUFFERER. The pain is so horrid I would rather be dead. There are very very tell tale signs of clusters, very easy to diagnose. If you are still wondering, email me for the symptoms. I care.
