Verapimil is the CCB I hear of most. I take 360mg/day and the HA's are a lot fewer and less intense. A 10 still sneaks through once in a while but not often. They are blood pressure and angina medications. They act to relax the heart muscle and blood vessels. They can make you dizzy when you first start taking them (due to the lower blood pressure). I don't notice any side effects. Once you start taking them you aren't supposed to stop cold turkey. You have to wean yourself off the medicine and let you BP return to normal slowly. An abrupt stop could cause chest pain. Hope it works for you.
