I wish i had the info with me regarding the magnesium. It was given to me years ago when I first started the trial. I suggest to contact Dr. Alexander Mauskop at New York Headache Center
30 East 76th Street
New York, NY 10021 USA
Phone: 212-794-3550
Fax: 212-794-0591
E-mail: nyheadache@aol.com
I sent you his web-site info separately. The injection is intravenous, injected in the arm where blood samples are taken. It takes about 3-5 minutes for it to be injected. Dr. Mauskop has plenty of info on results for both cluster and migraine sufferers. Regarding "phrenilin forte" I do not have all the info except that it works for me. I just started using it last week and frankly, have not done the assignment of finding out much about it since I have tried to stay away from most triggers of my clusters: reading, stress from getting more info than I need at the time. This might be irresponsible but the Dr. who prescribed it is an MD with training in accupuncture, chronic pain, etc. He said that this particular form of phrenilin has a neuroconductor which eases the pain, which is what has made it work for me. Actually, today is the first time that I get into the computer and I do not feel half bad under its influence. Let me know what you find you and if it works for you. I get my cluster only when seasons change-- spring to summer and winter to spring, rare but true. They last for three weeks and that's it! Hope that this trend continues, it is better that having it all year long, I guess. I also get a spasm on the left side of the head, which is where my headaches are located, and my pain is localized in the left eye socket. I am in my second week of cluster, one to go... I wish you good luck.
