My sister simply cannot fly on airplanes anymore. She gets such severe headaches she says she feels like her head will explode. She has a lot of sinus problem, problems with eustacion tubes in her ears, and congestion caused by allergies. She really does suffer torture especially at certain altitudes when the airplane air pressure is too great.
I would see an ENT doctor for analysis. Even my future son-in-law who is a pilot had a severe explosive headache once when flying with a bad cold. I have had this too when the plane is circling an airport waiting to land. That was long before CH struck, but Iremember how painful it was.
They make special earplugs that work for some people. Ask at your local drug store. Also my sister used to take a good antihistamine or decongestant when she had to fly.
Good luck in finding an answer.
P.S.
I wonder if they would let you use the oxygen and if this would help during a flight.
