I'm primarily an Imitrex tab user, but I had 2 spray samples from my doc last cycle.
The tabs work for me in 10 - 15 minutes. The spray did about the same, once I figured it out.
Here's the 'trick'....you MUST take the tab at the point when you know your shadow is going to move into a real CH. Wait until the CH actually starts and it does little to no good. Same is true of the spray, but with added difficulties.
My best luck with the spray was to do this-
First, I exhaled as fully as I could. Then I hit the bottle and inhaled as slowly and for as long as I could. The idea (I think) is to take as much of the spray into your lungs as you can, where it is more quickly absorbed into the blood stream.
