After 20 yrs of being chronic and also having fibromyalgia and sleep apnea, I'm considering trying to have the radio frequency trigeminal rhizotomy. Does anyone know someone who has had this? Or have information I need to know? I know about the numb face stuff, but with health and family problems I desperately need an effective antidepressant. As long as I continue to have clusters the SSRI's are not an option for me as all eventually cause unremitting, back-to-back, 24-hour headaches. There is no treatment listed anywhere (exc. histamine desensitization) I've not tried. Only option cafergot for clusters and dexadrine for depression. Please help. And many thanks.
