Jackie,
I started with 120 mg/day for a week (1/2 pill),
then increased by 1/2 pill each week until I got
to 240 mg per day (these were the doctors instructions).
After I started feeling better, I gradually went back
down (without the doctor telling me to). I was back to
120 mg/day and feeling good when my prescription ran out.
I asked for a lower dosage so I wouldn't have to break
pills in half. He prescribed 180 mg pills (go figure).
So I still break them in half, but I'm taking 90 mg/day
now. I forget to take it every so often with no notice of it.
Perhaps I've broken this cycle. Has anyone out there broken
out of a chronic cycle? For those who are on medication that
works, how do you know when the cycle is over if the medicine
removes the symptoms. Do you just stop taking the meds and see
if they return? I'm not sure I want to try that. Any ideas?

Be pain free.
