The company has to put that in because grapefruit does in effect muddle the working of Vera.
Also, Verapamil is a heart medicin and inpreventing heart attacks you might want to be extra careful (as a company).
I do not have precise figures, like so much grapefruit equals so much less Vera, but if you DO like grapefruit, you may want to lower your dosage a little, maybe keep some Vera for a rainy day.
