I'm afraid I had the same results as iJun. I took 80 mg a day the idea was to break the cycle. While on prednisone, the headaches were completely blocked. When I would start to taper off, I'd get to about 20 to 30 mg a day and get hit with 9"s and 10's. Ouch. I had a freiend who was able to get me more and I stayed on it for about 5 months. When i went off, my cycle had ended. The prednisone made my joints ache, I gained about 10 pounds, and when i went off i broke out all over my body with acne, I looked 15 again! If i had not found lithium I would have continued to take it because it made them stop. Good luck.
