I have been suffering from migraines since I was 10 years old, I am now 42. I am having an episode of cluster headaches (diagnosed yesterday). My doctor gave me verapamil and requested that I use oxygen. I was wondering if the verapmil works, I got the rx filled and am too chicken to take it. Any advice? Does it help? Looking back, I recalled having these headaches about 10 years ago but wasn't diagnosed then, just got a zillion different opinions from different doctors. Do these type of headaches come on and then leave for a few years and then come back? Are there any triggers, stress, certain foods etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Lucy
