I didn't realize that you were told it was approved. I didn't even realize that you were writing anything for it until the used editorial was almost completely complete. When the subject came up about your piece we decided that an editorial, especially the first one of the first issue, should be written by the editor. There were also space constraints about having a second one put in the newsletter. And the fact that the piece used was almost complete also played a small role in it. I don't understand how that confusion happened where you thought that it was approved. Anyway, what you wrote was very good and I don't want you to think that not using it was a punishment for a good deed. Sorry if you feel slighted. That wasn't the intention.
