I take 1200 mg a day when I'm on cycle. If I screw up and do a trigger, alcohol, mess up sleep cycles etc....I will get a headache that breaks thru the lithium. I use cafergot and oxygen to blunt those but I stay on the lithium until the cycle ends. Good luck.
