I've never tried the B2 thing, but at the beginning of my cycle, before the beast gets too strong a foothold, I've found that a teaspoon of powdered ginger mixed with some warm water will abort a CH if taken at the first warning sign.

Seems to last for two or three hours, then I have to do it again. If the pain is already established, I find the ginger doesn't work... I have to resort to Imitrex or Zomig.

Unfortunately, for me anyway, once I am into the peak part of the cycle with 8s and 10s happening several times a day, the ginger seems to do nothing at all.

On the plus side, it is cheap, and apart from the taste, seems to have no bad side-effects. Hope this works for some of you. If you haven't tried it yet, you should.

regards
pinky
