Your experience is similar to mine. I took 40 mg of presnisone for a week and, apart from one bad day, it worked well. I'm currently winding down the prednisone so I'm worried that the ch's will rebound--hence my interest in verapamil. Were the side effects manageable? I also took Benedryl with the prednisone--a combo that works well as pointed out in an above thread.
