Barbara, you may want to use the search feature to find some old posts on surgery, gamma knife etc.. I know there have been posts here from people who have had surgery for clusters. I've been coming to this site for quite a long time, and I'm sorry I can't remember how far back they would be. I do remember one person saying they were left with permanent numbness on one side of the head, including the eyeball. In that case the person felt it was worth the sacrafice to escape the clusters. I think each person would have to judge that by their own circumstances.
