Ahhh...Imitrex. It certainly is a lifesaver! I never have had luck with the oral or nasal form with clusters (did work w/migraines). I personally have the best luck w/Imitrex 6mg injectable and oxygen---at the same time. Make sure to stay within the prescribed usage. It can otherwise cause rebound clusters and cardiac problems. Take it from me (and I do work within the guidelines or call my MD for help) I had chest pain and required an angiogram before the cardiologist would let me take the Imitrex and other cluster meds again.
