My SCUBA experience with CH is positive. I find the focus on breathing seems to help me during the CH-attacks.

I do however take my Imitrex injection kit on the dive boat. Once I had an attack in the dive boat after a dive on the trip back. Be sure to let your dive-buddy know that if you give the signal its time to surface. There's always another time to dive.

The international signal for underwater CH-attack is to point to your head with fingers in pistol grip position pulling trigger.

I suspect that you could inject imitrex at-depth but be sure to wash the injector with lots of fresh water after the dive as the spring will surely corrode. If you do take the injector diving, be sure not to let it dangle from your BC as it might be attractive to barracuda. If you used the injector to fight off the barracuda you might be charged with underwater spear-fishing.

Best advice is if you are othewise fit to dive, go and enjoy. Where are you going? I like Belize.
