hi drummer,

jack boyd sent me my menbership card
a few days ago!
i'm a fully paid up and very proud
to be member of ouch.

dr peter j. goadsby, is in actual fact
wellcome's senior research fellow,
and professor of clinical neurology
and consultant neurologist at the
national hospital in london england.

scotland btw! is a completely seperate country
from england, with its own laws and democracy.
the commonality is european.
calling a scotsman an englishman
is like calling an american a mexican
common border different culture.
dont worry i'm not offended, lol.

i could never suggest for one minute
that goadsby's integrity is suspect.
that's beyond question
although he must enjoy an enormous salary
and privileges as senior research fellow,
(you cant get any bigger than that over here)

glaxo is a commercial profit making enterprise
with shareholders and dividends.
that is their prime motive for existence.
their mission statement and objectives.

what budgets that goadsby enjoys is controlled
by their commercial financial strategy and
ability to optimise revenue income.
it must be difficult at times for goadsby
to operate under these conditions.
i dont know if you could call it
a conflict of interest,
i mean glaxo's conflict,
not his.

it doesn't make me feel secure and
comfortable as a clusterhead though!
however honourable and popular he is.

i still think we could do better than
a dozen glaxo/welcome's

for glaxo/welcome
there is great profit in pain
kids pain and our pain.
its suspect whatever we think.
