Yes, I too am a depressive from way back when, long BEFORE I ever had a CH attack.
And with "depressive" I do not mean just down, or sad. It's when everything is too much, life drags you on, it feels like wading through a barrel of syrup, you don't get anything done, you won't answer the phone, nothing delights you. Just about. I have that several times a year.

I have never been treated for it (being old fashioned: those are things you sort out by and for yourself...

But there's one good thing about it. After all these years, you recognize it for what it is. Just a fake. You know you survived last time. It does not look like it, but you'll survive this time too.
Just like a ch attack.

Learning to live with depression has made me a pretty cheerful person, on the whole.
