there seem to be a lot of news names the last couple weeks, and I haven't noticed folks speaking of oxygen - which was a steady thread all fall
if any of you haven't tried or are unaware of using oxygen to abort the attacks, do yourself a HUGE favor and go back through the archived messages (indexed at top of msg board) or go to DJ's homepage (button at top of message board) and use his new search to check on Oxygen
it seems to be the ONLY thing that has a very high consistency of effectiveness
sure was a miracle for me - have had clusters for 28 years ranging all over the scale from long-term remissions to chronic periods -
NOTHING has ever dependably worked before I tried the oxygen this time, and by getting on it at the earliest twitch of an impending attack I stopped all but 2 or 3 attacks COMPLETELY within 10-12 minutes, and before they got to a real painful stage .... for the last month of my cluster (which ended about 10 days ago)
it's critical to get on it very early in the attack - as soon as you sense the "aura"
if you've had trouble before getting a scrip or getting insurance coverage - do some web searching, print out the dozens of medical pages that now certify O2 for clusters & take them to Doc & Ins Co - good luck
