I will ask my doc the question this coming week but wanted any advice from members first. I came off of a 2 month cycle with Prednisome (six 10mg tabs for 10 days, then taking 5,4,3,2, 1 for the next 5 days). The prednisone worked wonders and I was headache free for 2 months. Then they came back. The prescription still had three refills so I refilled it. I've taken two tablets a day now for three days and it seems to have calmed my newest wave of CHs. I'm planning to go to one tab for the next 2-3 days and stop. Anyone have any experience with additional cycles after a first round of prednisone - what did they prescribe?
I shouldn't have restarted it without talking to my doctor first but then why do they give 3 refills?
