I dont care how understanding a boss may start out to be, If you are hired to do a job and you no longer can complete your duties because of an illness, you apply for disability. unable to work, thats what it means. when i am in cycle i am unable to work, i am unable to drive, i am unable to think, unable to function, i am disabled.
Hoorah for anyone who can do these things, i can not judge your pain not living in your head, but please dont assume to know my or anyone else here's experience. There for the grace of God you go, but never ever judge someone elses path.
That is not supportive,and is just plain wrong.
