between 1-2 weeks to kick in. 120 and 240 mgs doesn't do much for me. I was switched to 360 mgs a couple of weeks ago, and it appears to be putting a dent in this. I have a call in to up it to 480 mgs (which I initially asked for) and hopefully this will do the trick, or a trick. So, if your verap isn't doing much for now, get your doctor to crank up the dosage, if you're not already at a maxed-out level.
The O2? What do you have for flow and set up? You need a non-rebreather mask (and definitely not the canules -- nose plugs) set at between 8-10 liters per minute.
