I am a prick but I too have succeeded in convincing my mother that she was a wonderful parent.
I respect your right to not believe in a supreme being and, in fact, I don't even care what you believe. My goal in life is simply to make you happy :-), which is getting harder by the day.
And speaking of our maternal grandmothers who we both adored I will tell you something I have never told you before. My grandmother spent her last 5 years in a nursing home and on more than one occasion I changed her diaper.
