Hello Everyone,
My wife is currently going through her semi-yearly
bout with clusters. The Doctors seem to keep giving
her Migrain medications that do little or nothing at all.
Right now she takes Imitrex in pill form which does
very little. Are the shots better? She has never been
given O2 or used the water treatment, but we will try that
next. In December she was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gerhig's
Disease) which totally devistated us. She is only 40
years old and we have two beautiful daughters (8 & 12)
that are more like her sisters than children. The last
thing we need is for her to suffer through these damned
clusters. I feel so helpless when they strike. What
can I do for her? Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated. I just found this board and it seems like
a Godsend to us, even just to know that there are others
that are going through this (Clusters that is , let alone
the ALS). Any help or advise would be great.
